'A Storm To Remember' Focuses on Hurricane Sandy Aftermath
Video shows Monmouth shorefront devastation
A video produced by local film maker Rob Grieb documents the devastation during and immediately after Hurricane Sandy, with particular attention to areas such as the Manasquan Inlet.
Stories of surfers in the hours before and of homeowners and business owners in the emergency hours after the devastating storm are highlighted in the eight-minute video. Showing just how homes fared and how residents were allowed back in after evacuation, only to see homes torn asunder by the storm surge.
The documentary also shows the hope in the days following the storm, as residents banded together to make sense of the damage. Businesses such as Firefly offered free meals as the flood waters subsided.
The video, "A Storm to Remember," is a short Narrative Documentary about Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath, narrated by Matthew Aiello with featured music by The Cinematic Orchestra - To Build a Home.

I looked over that bridge yesterday. ...have seen that view many times. I didn't even know where I was. Even ONSTAR is confused because service went in and out. Like comparing a great book to the film version, the real view taught me so much more. Thanks again for taking the time to create it.

Very well done, three months later and i feel the emotions like it was yesterday. this should be shown at the opening at every sandy fund raser. and like the coment one women made it seems it takes disaster to bring us all together and form camaraderie.it brings out true human spirit. send a copy to Governor Chris Christie
