The bulk trash day postponed because of the Independence Day holiday is re-scheduled for Wednesday for those areas scheduled for pick up.

Residents in Zone 1, which includes West Belmar and other neighborhoods along Belmar Boulevard, who were scheduled for their regular bulk pickup on July 4 will have their bulk items picked up Wednesday. The remainder of the bulk pickup schedule will be unaffected.

Items must be placed at the curb by 6:30 a.m. and there is a limit of 10, according to the township website. Items like household furniture, household appliances and other bulky household items may be placed for pickup. But household refuse, recyclable materials or other trash will not be picked up.
