I heard he went fishing with a few buddies. How did they lose him if they went fishing together? Sounds fishy to me. Foul play?

He also owns a nail salon on Fischer Blvd, Royal Nails. The whole story seems a bit odd to me.

Met Paul @ the salon, was a great family man who had 3 beautiful daughters & wife. Paul worked very hard and loved to end his day fishing, he was such a pleasant man who made many laugh in his nail-salon. I feel so bad for the kids and the wife, 41 yrs of age is just too young. Just last week had a conversation with Paul in how he met his wife and how he promised her Dad he would marry her after he graduated college. Was a stand-up guy who ran an incredible business, came to this country from vietnam made the transition and reeped the benefits of the american dream. Such a heart wrenching story, i feel for those children was a great father to them.. too many questions regarding this incident, too many!!!

my heart goes out to Ana and their three beautiful children! What a shock.... May God bless all of them and give them the strengh they need at this time. Paul and Ana ran the cleanest nail salon in Ocean County. Paul kept the floors so clean I used to ask him how he did it with all the customers, he said "I lick them every night" He had such a funny sense of humor! Ana is sooooo sweet, lets all keep their buisness going strong, they deserve that much!!! Donna Clemente T.R XOXOXOXO

I am shocked and heart-sick for Anna and her daughters. Paul was a very experienced fisherman, can't imagine what could've happened other than a
physical abnormality. I have been an extremely satisfied customer at ROYAL NAILS the past 3 years with an incredible staff along with Anna - Edna, Peter, Kim, Tina and up until recently, Vivian and Ed. Very pleasant, highly skilled service. Love you, Anna.

I too am shocked to hear this news. Paul was so funny and sweet. He was always smiling and had a funny laugh. I was always impressed by how he was always in such a playful good mood eventhough he worked like 80 hours a week it seemed. Great guy, great family. I will miss him. Not going to be the same there but as others have said I will continue to go to help out his family and business. May God Bless his family. Judith

So, saddened over the news of Pauls death. My sister introduced me to the Salon 5 months ago where she had been going. What a remarkable businessman and all around wonderful, funny individual. My heart goes out to Ana and their three children at a time like this. This is a very, very sad situation. He was entirley too young to have his life taken from him. Lets help Ana thru this and continue to be loyal customers to keep the business going for Ana and the children in Pauls memory. Paul, RIP my dear you will be so ever missed. xoxoxoxox

Anything can happen when fishing in the ocean, or even on the beach, as it did here. One slip and your waders fill up with water, and take you down. It could happen in seconds, and even if fishing with a buddy, you can turn your head, and the other person is gone. Really wish they was a follow up to this story to find out exactly what did happen. But my heart goes out to this man's family. Very sad.
