The Township Committee is scheduled to hold a special executive meeting tonight at town hall, 2700 Allaire Rd.

The meeting is a single-topic session, part of Mayor Todd Luttman’s reorganization of the panel’s work sessions.

Upon becoming mayor, Luttman re-arranged the agendas for the committee’s workshop sessions. Instead of waiting until the end of the meeting for each of the members to give their reports, Luttman has tied he committee reports to each section of the agenda, a process that he believes will make the running of the meetings smoother.

As part of that process, Luttman also has designated one work session a month to a single topic. This week’s topic will be the municipal budget, he said.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in conference room “A’’ of town hall.
