The four principals of the school district's elementary schools, with the additional firepower of Superintendent Daniel Simon lasted through a grueling basetball game with the district's fifth graders on Monday.

The event, a charity fund-raiser for district victims of Hurricane Sandy, raised more than $4,000, Simon said.
