Frugal Family: Best Deal On Spring Gutter Cleaning

No one wants to drag out that ladder and put on the lawn gloves, do they?

Spring is here and it’s time to haul out the ladder and don the lawn gloves and get those household gutters cleaned out.

Sounds about as fun as going to the MVC to register your car, right?

Clearly, the cheapest way to get that job done is to do it yourself.  But we at Wall Patch understand. It’s unpleasant. There are better things to do with your time. Also it’s unpleasant, did we mention that already?

There’s got to be a better way.

What we found was that each gutter cleaning business had a different method of pricing. We contacted many different businesses in the Wall area. Not all are not located in Wall Township but service the town none-the-less.

Here’s what we found:

Viking - (732) 747-3334

Cost: Minimum charge of $149 for 75 feet of gutter. $1.00 per foot after that.

Garden State Gutter - (732) 775-6655

Cost: Only on-the-job estimate. But it’s free.

Absolutely Spotless - (732) 542-5111

Cost: $200 for a house less than 2,700 square feet. $250 for a house more than 2,700 square feet.

Craftsman - (732) 681-2272

Cost: $65 for a ranch-style home; $80 for a two-story colonial-type house.

East Coast Gutter Service - (732) 910-7353

Cost: $80 for a single-story; $120 for a two-story house.

McMahon's Hot & Cold Power Wash - (732) 681-1111

Cost: $75 minimum charge. 50-cents per linear foot following that.
