Gym, Tan, Get Off My Television: 'Jersey Shore' Is Kaput
The situation, after six seasons, is under control
It's done.
MTV has officially announced that the final season of "Jersey Shore'' has reached an end. Season 6 of the show, which just finished shooting in Seaside Heights, will mark the show's last.
The announcement comes just days after Nicole "Snooki'' Polizzi gave birth to a son in Livingston.
The network will air the retrospective Gym, Tan, Look Back as part of a farewell marathon Sept. 6, and the cast will make an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards that night.
The network has not offered a reason why the series is ending.
Most recently, Polizzi and fellow cast member Jennifer "J-Woww" Farley have returned to Ocean County to tape episodes of spin-off program Snooki and J-Woww in Manchester.
Is the cancellation a good thing? Discuss in the comments.

Maybe all the J.S. cast Wanabees will go with them. One can only hope.

Now, when we want to watch an obnoxious benny on TV, we'll have to tune in to the state of the state address, or the RNC convention.

Better than listening to the Campaigner-In-Chief and his Wife.
