James "Seamus" Bickel, 57, of Wall died Sunday, Nov. 4 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center after losing a battle to pancreatic cancer.

Bickel was raised in Linden before moving to the Jersey Shore years ago. He was a carpenter and most recently had been CEO of Inchimoor Associates.

He is survived by his wife, Patrice M. Rodman of Wall; and his loving dogs, Harli, Zoe, Baby, Sweetie.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or Jersey Shore Relief American Red Cross.
