Four local men and women were indicted by a Freehold grand jury last week on charges they burglarized several area homes late last year, documents show. 

Chelsey Cappa, 20, and Jessica Franco, 22, both of Wall, and Damien Davis, 29, of Lake Como, and Kharaan Ferreira, 33, of Ocean Grove, face multiple counts of burglary and theft charges stemming from a string of alleged crimes perpetrated late last year in Wall, Neptune and Bradley Beach, the indictment says. 

The alleged team of burglars were indicted May 1, according to the indicment signed by county Prosecutor Peter E. Warshaw Jr. 

Cappa, Franco and Davis were charged with the attempted burglary of a Wall residence on Sept. 5 and Oct. 29, 2011, the indictment says. 

Franco and Davis were also charged with a Nov. 2 burglary of another Wall residence, in which they allegedly stole a television valued at $500, the indictment says. 

Cappa, Franco and Davis were also indicted for an alleged burglary of a third Wall residence on Dec. 20, 2011, in which the trio is charged with stealing a laptop computer valued at $400, the indictment says. 

Ferreira faces charges of an alleged burglary of a Bradley Beach home on Dec. 18, 2011, in which he allegedly stole a laptop computer and/or cash and/or an iPad valued at $500, the indictment says.

Ferreira was also charged with burglarizing another Bradley Beach home the same day, this time allegedly making off with a laptop computer and/or jewelry and/or a drill, valued at $500, the indictment says. 

Two days later, Ferreira and Cappa allegedly attempted to burglarize a third Bradley Beach residence, the indictment says. 

The pair was also charged with hindering apprehension for allegedly concealing evidence related to the attempted burglary on Dec. 20, the indictment says. 

The four individuals face the following charges: 

• Cappa: Attempted Burglary (two counts), Burglary, Theft of Movable Property, Criminal Trespass, and Hindering Apprehension of Oneself.
• Franco: Attempted Burglary, Burglary (two counts), and Theft of Movable Property (two counts).
• Davis: Attempted Burglary, Burglary (two counts), and Theft of Movable Property (two counts).
• Ferreira: Attempted Burglary, Burglary (two counts), Theft of Movable Property (two counts), Criminal Trespass, and Hindering Apprehension of Oneself.
