It started as an unnamed tropical storm. Eventually, it grew. Then people who do such things named it "Sandy."

Then it was Hurricane Sandy.

But when it looked like the storm might roll into the East Coast right around Halloween, combine with a couple other messy weather patterns, people found other names for the upcoming event.

We're asking you what your favorite is. We have a favorite, but we're not telling.
