Police Seek Help Identifying Man In Photos

Police say man is using credit cards stolen from purse taken from a car parked in town last week

Wall Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who police say is using credit cards stolen from a woman's purse last week.

The cards, taken from a purse stolen between 1:30 and 5 p.m. July 11 from an unlocked vehicle parked in town, have been used in numerous places throughout Monmouth County, Lt. Walter Pomphrey said.

The surveillance photos were taken from a Route 9 convenience store in Freehold, Pomphrey said.

Anyone who may be able to identify the man pictured is asked to call the Wall Township Police Detective Bureau at (732) 449-4800. All calls can be kept anonymous, Pomphrey said.
