Route 70 Proposal Scratched From Board Meeting

Pitch to build a childcare center and medical office building on Route 70 postponed

A proposal to build a childcare center and a medical office building near Route 70 was postponed Monday, officials said.

The proposal, which targets a tract on Morningstar Road and Route 70, calls for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot, single story childcare center and an adjacent 17,775-square-foot, single story medical office building. The buildings would replace a currently empty tract near the front entrance to the Four Seasons housing development that was once used as a gravel yard, according to planning documents.

The two buildings would be constructed in two phases, with the Kiddie Academy building first, according to the township planner’s review of the proposal.

The application was scratched from the Planning Board’s meeting Monday and re-scheduled for the March 4 session.

Mr. Brown. According to minutes, the HB-80 site was approved for something during this meeting. Is it true that it will be a Lowes Home Improvement Center?
