The Board of Education on Tuesday afternoon is scheduled to hold a public meeting in the conference room of the Superintendent of Schools Daniel Simon.

The meeting, which is not part of the board's monthly public sessions but is nonetheless open to the public, is a "retreat'' to be held with members of the New Jersey School Boards Association.

The purpose of the meeting, according to a public notice, is to set goals and complete self-evaluations, as well as talk about members' board training.

The meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. in the superintendent's conference room, located behind the Board of Education administrative offices — the red school house — on 18th Avenue.
