Sub Chain Owner Places Wreaths For Fallen Soldiers

Jersey Mike's founder raised money, participated, in somber ceremony

Wall Township-based sub shop chain helped raise $100,000 to continue a somber wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

The ceremony, part of a Dec. 10th National Day of Remembrance, was organized by Wreaths Across America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to continuing and expanding the laying of wreaths at the graves of soldiers.

“In just a little over an hour, we laid 90,000 wreaths,” said Karen Worcester, executive director, Wreaths Across America.  “It was remarkable.  Thanks to Jersey Mike’s Subs for helping us make this possible.”
