A group of teachers and school professionals were honored at Tuesday’s Board of Education meeting for outstanding achievement.
Schools Superintendent James Habel honored one teacher or professional from each school for top honors and recognized them during the board’s meeting.
The 2011 Outstanding Teacher/Educational Services Professionals are:
- Tara Leary, Speech teacher, Allenwood School
- Cathleen Brenner, 5th Grade teacher, Central School
- Kim Lett-Brown, Kindergarten teacher, Old Mill School
- Kathryn Kunert, Special Education teacher, West Belmar School
- Stephen Bryant, Music teacher, Intermediate School
- Debra Simon, Physical Education/Health teacher, High School
- Susan Peacock, School Nurse, Old Mill School
