Three men were indicted Wednesday on drug possession charges stemming from a July incident in town, authorities said.
Matthew J. Chasey, 21, of Lakewood; Derrick W. Cook, 18, of Cape Canaveral, Fla., and David P. Foster Jr., 21, of Neptune were indicted on a single count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, according to the indictment.
The trio was arrested on July 10 and charged with possession of methylone, according to the indictment. Methylone is a chemical cousin to MDMA, the active ingredient in the club drug known as “Extacy.’’
