UPDATE: Wall Man Charged With Sexual Assault Of Minor
Garfield St. man arrested by township police on Wednesday
A Wall man made an initial appearance in court Thursday morning on sexual abuse charges involving a child fewer than 13 years old.
Thomas F. McKenna, 73, of Garfield St., was arrested Wednesday and taken to Monmouth County jail, Freehold Township, on $200,000 bail, according to the arrest warrant. McKenna was not listed as an inmate Thursday, jail records say.
McKenna is charged with second-degree sexual assault with a minor and third degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Wall Township police in a release Thursday afternoon said no further information would be released, citing the nature of the crime and the age of the child. No photo of McKenna was released.
The preliminary investigation began Tuesday, conducted by Patrolman Vincent Mazzaccaro and Wall Detectives. The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office assisted, Lt. Walter Pomphrey said.

Why would you not post a picture of this sicko so everyone knows what he looks like? He should be subjected to the embarrasment and shame of this plus any other punishment he receives for his awful crime

Because you have already convicted him in your mind is why no photo should be posted. How many lives are ruined by untrue accusations? Mr. McKenna is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law by his peers.

If this is true then prayers for that little girl. That will be a horrible memory she will keep for the rest of her life.
John, you said you know the little girl.. is she family to McKenna* (not McKenne)?
Phineas, They never release pictures of pedophiles until they are proven guilty, it's always been that way.. They should, I agree with you, but they won't.
