Wall OEM Thanks Firefighters

Fire Prevention Week comes to a close Saturday

The township Office of Emergency Management in a release issued Friday publicly thanked the township's fire companies and fire bureau in connection with this week's Fire Prevention Week.

From the release:

"In recognition of Fire Prevention Week (October 7-13, 2012), Wall Township Office of Emergency Management would like to take this opportunity to formally recognize the dedication of all members of Wall Fire Company #1, Glendola Fire Company, South Wall Fire Rescue and Wall Township Fire Bureau. Your hard work and support have not only enabled you to better protect your personnel and the residents of Wall Township, they also have contributed to a much greater level of emergency preparedness throughout our community. Thank you!

"The theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week is Have Two Ways Out! Please visit the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) website for more campaign information, which you can share with your communities:http://www.usfa.fema.gov/campaigns/smokealarms/escapeplans/index.shtm."
