Power Update from Mayor Jeffrey Foster

The Glendola substation on Marconi Road is under repair. It will be out of service for 3 hours according to JCP&L. Residents should be receiving an update from Global Connect shortly. Residents can also listen for updates on 101.5 FM radio. They will be providing updates on an hourly basis until power is restored. The Township Committee appreciates your patience.

What about the western end of Belmar Blvd?? Broad Street, Sue, Grace, etc? We've been totally forgotten here.

There has been a trouble ticket sent to JCP&L. There are approximately 14 homes in that area out of power and been waiting for JCP&L to respond. We are calling them constantly, and recommend the residents do the same; call 1-888-LIGHTSS or 1-888-544-4877.
