IN NEW JERSEY A DRIVING VIOLATION CAN END YOU UP IN JAIL

Many local New Jersey Drivers are unaware that one or more traffic violations can end up with time in jail. Just to name a few of the situations;

Driving with an expired license, Driving without a license, Driving on a suspended license. Failure to pay a prior fine related to a prior traffic offense such as speeding.

Any or all and much more can result in you being hauled into local jail and if not settled immediately, being transferred to a county jail facility in our state. An important point, is that you DO NOT have to be the driver of the vehicle and if the vehicle is pulled over and you are asked your name and address by the officer, even a passenger with the aforementioned problems can end up in jail.

In order to avoid this, keep up on your license renewals and if you have one or more unpaid traffic violations, get them addressed before they come back to haunt you. Often people move and forget about these minor violations until it’s too late.

As always if you plan on going out for dinner and drinks, a designated driver is always a good idea. Should you need the services of a Bail Bond Company, think A.J Dell’Omo Bail and Surety.
