Unique Electric Yoga Charity Event

 

Neptune, NJ: On August 24th, Move For Hunger is hosting the Electric Yoga Experience, a one-of-a-kind wellness event that blends the serenity and spirituality of traditional Yoga with the energy and excitement of the modern electronic age. Over 500 participants and 40 local vendors are expected at the event, which is taking place in the Hoop Group building at 1930 Heck Avenue (Building 3) in Neptune, NJ on August 24th at 7:00PM.

Proceeds from the Electric Yoga Experience will benefit Move For Hunger, a Neptune-based hunger relief non-profit that strengthens food banks across America. Nationwide, 1 in 6 Americans does not have enough to eat. In Monmouth County alone, 62,000 people—including 21,000 children—suffer from hunger. To date, Move For Hunger has delivered 2,000,000 pounds of food to those who need it most.

At the Electric Yoga Experience, attendees will find tranquility through a deeply relaxing Yoga meditation session before speeding up for a high-intensity fitness dance party.  This professionally choreographed, custom-designed experience will captivate attendees with mesmerizing lightshows and superior acoustic ambiance.

 

“Never before have high-tech light and audio systems and ancient spiritual practices been brought together in the name of charity,” says Adam Lowy, Executive Director of Move For Hunger. “The goal of the Electric Yoga Experience is to promote spiritual, physical, and communal wellbeing while drawing attention to the problem of hunger in our communities.”
