Family Dinner Challenge Begins Monday

The Wall Alliance for the Prevention of Drug and Alcohol Abuse is sponsoring a weeklong event encouraging township families to eat dinner together five times this coming week.

The Wall Family Dinner Week – part of a national movement to get families together at dinner time -- challenges residents to sit down to dinner as a family five times between Sept. 22 to 28.

“Simply put, the more often kids eat dinner with their families, the less likely they are to smoke, drink or use drugs,’’ according to a Wall Alliance flyer.
