The Collings Foundation's annual "Wings of Freedom Tour" landed at Monmouth Executive Airport this weekend.
The tour is a World War II-era aviation exhibit featuring three restored planes:
The B-24 Liberator; a B-17 Flying Fortress, and a P-51C Mustang. The planes were available for hands-on inspection on the ground and, for a price, a short flight.
The landing gear on the tour's Jersey Shore stop goes up Monday at noon.
