Former Township Admin Named To State Panel

Joseph L. Verruni named to State Board of Mediation

A former Township administrator has been named to a state mediation panel by Gov. Chris Christie.

Joseph L. Verruni, who last year retired from the position of Township administrator, was named to the state Board of Mediation, according to a release from the Governor's Office.

The 7-member board, an independent agency within the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, seeks to prevent or promptly settle labor disputes involving private sector employers, private employees, and private sector unions.

Verruni, who had worked in the township for 20 years, is now the acting administrator/borough clerk in Sea Bright.
