Heat, Heat and More Heat Tuesday

County under heat warning as temps push over 90 degrees

The National Weather Service has placed Monmouth County under a heat advisory Tuesday as heat and humidity are expected to soar.

The advisory is in effect from Noon to 8 p.m. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s with high humidity, making the temperature feel more like 100 degrees.

A heat advisory means the combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible.
