Honoring Soldiers Returning From Iraq

Military personnel to leave war zone by end of year

After eight years of the Iraq War, U.S. Officials have said that all military personnel stationed there will be home by the end of the year, many by Christmas.

So we want to know about your loved ones who served in Iraq. Do you have a husband, wife, son, daughter, sister, brother, niece, nephew or cousin that will be coming home in the next week or so? Would you like to welcome them home on Patch?

Send Wall Patch editor Keith Brown, keith.brown@patch.com your stories and photos of your loved one who is coming home. If you'd like us to write your story, contact Keith and he'll put the story together for you. Welcome your loved one home in stories or photos.

If you lost a loved one during the war and would like to honor that person, we'd be happy to do that as well. Get the information to Keith.

We'd like to run these galleries over the Christmas weekend, so please have all information to Keith by Friday, Dec. 23.
