A male pitbull pictured with this story was found lost on Birdsall Rd. on Wednesday morning.
An email sent out by Howell township said the dog was wearing a camouflage collar but did not have tags.
The dog is currently being held at the Tinton Falls Assoc. Humane Society. He will be held there for seven days in hopes of finding the owner before being put up for adoption.
