Celestial event caught in images over Wall and Belmar this weekend
Wall-based teacher and photographer Mike Black caught some images of the an annual celestial event that was visible over the weekend.
"This is a great year for The Perseids, as the moon is not in sky until near dawn,'' Black said. "Also, anyone can see them, all you need are your eyes, and getting away from lights. You can see them, and other meteors, any night this week."
