Rolling Antique Iron Show is Sunday at Allaire

Auto show begins at 8:30 a.m.

Allaire Village will host its 16th Annual Rolling Antique Iron Show, scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Vehicles on display during the show will harken back to the 1901 to 1920 era, according to John Curtis, Allaire’s executive director. All vehicles manufactured from 1984 and prior are encouraged to enter.

Trophies will be awarded in various categories including: American cars, custom cars, foreign cars, trucks, and more. Gates are scheduled open at 8 a.m. for anyone who is interested in entering a vehicle. An entry fee of $18 a vehicle is required the day of the show.

“We usually get over 350 show cars and we will be expecting between 3,000 and 4,000 spectators to take in the show this year,” Curtis said.

While the event is free for spectators, there will be a $5 parking fee.
