National Weather Service says thunderstorms approach

The national Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for 15 New Jersey counties, including Monmouth.

The advisory is in effect until 4 p.m., the service said. Thunderstorms and high winds are possible through this afternoon, the service said.
