Town Hall Closings, Altered Trash Pickup

Christmas holiday moving trash pickup a day back for some

Town hall will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Trash and recycling pickup will continue as sheduled Monday, Dec. 24, for those who normally receive it on that day.

Anyone scheduled to receive trash or recycling pickup on Dec. 25, however, will have to wait a day. Yours will be picked up on Dec. 26.

Nice to see the workers in Town Hall get an extra day off. We all know that they work so much harder then the public works guys who worked 70 HOURS a week for 8 weeks in A ROW !

BTW trash pick-up scheduled for 12/24 will not be picked up today but on the scheduled day Friday 12/28 per the Twp web page notice. So bring your cans in till Friday. Hopefully the public works guys who worked 70+hours will be getting overtime pay for their extraordinary service to Twp residents. Happy New Year to all!

Extraordinary service, where do live, next to the mayor. I've had leaves in front of my house since halloween. I guess paying 16 grand a year for taxes isn't enough for extraordinary service. However since I didn't have leave pick up in 2012, which comes out of my taxes. I can't wait for the credit I should be getting for service I did not get. January 4th, and the leaves still sit in the street. Can't wait till it snows, at least they won't be in front of my house anymore.
