Township Dentist Donates $1,000 To Youth Football
All In The Family donation will buy 25 helmets
A local dentist's office has donated $1,000 toward the purchase of 25 helmets to the Wall Youth Football organization, bringing to 100 the total number of helmets the organization has received this year, football officials said.
Wall Youth Football created an Adopt-A-Helmet program to replace 200 helmets over three years. With the recent donation from All In The Family Dental Care, the football club is well ahead of schedule, according to a release.
“Wall Youth Football has been fortunate to experience no significant head injuries during our 51-year history," said Christopher Colatrella, the organization's president. "As a board, we have decided to make the prevention of head injury our number one focus.”

The helmets donated are similar to the helmets used by Aaron Rogers and other NFL players concerned about concussions. The helmets have better impact absorption, better heat management and better hygienics, according to the release.
TPU Cushioning won’t take a compression set, won’t break down and is resistant to mold, mildew, fungus and bacteria while providing a barrier against MRSA and staph concerns, the release says.

In addition to the $1,000 donation, All In The Family Dental Care is providing custom fit athletic mouth guards to Wall Football. The guards will protect against concussion and mouth injury more effectively, and allow the athlete to speak more articulately, according to the release.
“Dr. Jack and Dr. Joe Campi are two outstanding examples of what makes Wall Township the greatest place to live and raise your family,” said Adam Puharic, equipment manager of Wall Youth Football. “They are coaches, dads, and business people right in our community. They are doing their part to make youth football as safe and fun as it can be. I am so grateful for their efforts.”
