Winter Has Arrived

One to three inches Saturday and wet mix to continue

Wall residents found a little more than an inch of snow and slushy roads Saturday morning, and a wet mix is in the forecast.

Rain will continue through the morning and into the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service, likely tapering off after 2 p.m. Temperatures will drop again Saturday night, which could make the roads dangerous.

According to the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly snow will mix with sleet and then change to all rain by 1 p.m. Saturday. Accumulations could total between 1 and 2 inches before the changeover.
