WWII Symposium at Camp Evans Sunday

The collection of talks and displays of artifacts will begin at 1 p.m.

The at Camp Evans is scheduled to hold the 2nd Annual WWII Symposium on Sunday.

The event is set to begin at 1 p.m. with a series of talks on various topics including the many technical achievements worked on at Camp Evans and Fort Monmouth -- the use of radios by the Army, special jammers against German radars/communications and advances in U.S. radars to distinguish friendly from enemy airplanes.

Additionally, special videos on the formerly top secret Norden Bomb Sight will be shown along with cast iron models of soldiers and equipment of WWII Theaters of Operation. Tours of the camp are scheduled throughout the event.

The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for veterans and students with I.D. Credit cards are accepted online only at www.infoage.org through PayPal.
