Local Artisan to Hold “Trunk Show” at Country by the Sea in Avon, NJ

Friday, February 25 from 5 pm to 8 pm

February 17, 2011: Avon-by-the-Sea, N.J. – Country-by-the-Sea Tea Room, 515 Sylvania Avenue, Avon, N.J., has announced it will hold a “Trunk Show” with local artisan Michael Yevchak on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 5 pm to 8 pm.  Yevchak is the founder of “Signs by the Sea” and creates hand-crafted custom Town Name and Family Name home décor signs.  Each sign is hand-lettered, sanded and stained.

“We are thrilled for the opportunity to support local talent,” said Kara Wirin, co-manager of Country by the Sea, Avon. “Not only will our customers enjoy the chance to meet with a local artisan, we will also offer some great incentives to our shoppers during the event.”

                Incentives offered during the event will include:

• Customers who purchase in-stock or custom Yevchak sign during the Trunk Show will receive a 10% discount off the price of the sign.
• Anyone who purchases a Yevchak sign during the Feb. 25 event will be entered into a raffle to win a free Yevchak sign ($45 value). Drawing will be held at 8 pm on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011. Winner need not be present to win.  
• Customers who make any purchase at Country by the Sea during the Trunk Show will be entered into a drawing to win a $25 gift certificate to Country by the Sea.  Drawing will be held at 8 pm on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011. Winner need not be present to win.  
• Free refreshments will be provided for Country by the Sea shoppers during the Trunk Show. 

Country by the Sea has in stock the following town signs by Yevchak: Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Interlaken, Ocean Grove, Shark River Hills and more.   Town signs include the town’s year of establishment, as well as the latitude, longitude and elevation of the town. Signs for any other town are available by order and are ready for pick up in 5 to 7 business days.  Other Signs by the Sea available for order are:

• “From Jersey City to the Jersey Shore” signs
• Anniversary/wedding gift signs (which include the family last name and wedding date)
• Baby name signs (which include the baby’s first and/or middle name and birthdate)
• Business name signs (which include the name of the business and date of establishment)
