Tuesday Afternoon Movie: Poseidon Adventure

It’s New Year’s Eve 1972 on the beautiful cruise ship S.S. Poseidon, the band is playing “There’s Got to be a Morning After,” and then it hits.  The first and one of the most gripping disaster films of all time follows ten survivors as they struggle to escape from an ocean liner capsized by a tidal wave. Suspenseful terror, combined with the victims' intimate and personal stories, results in compelling action and drama starring Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Red Buttons, Roddy McDowall and Shelley Winters.
