Spring Festival At Allaire Village Saturday

Historic Village to celebrate the end of winter

Spring, spring, spring. It's so ... not winter.

Historic Allaire Village on Saturday will present an Early 19th Century Spring Festival to revel in the season of renewal, when plants and flowers come to
life, the grass and trees turn green, and people come out of their homes after a long winter to enjoy the warmer weather.

The free event beings at Noon and features a 19th Century market and auction. The auction is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m in front of the General Store. Items made by Village Artisans, floral arrangements and toys will be up for the highest bidder. There will be 19th Century militia demonstrations, Hearth Cooking at the Manager’s House, and Stovetop Cooking in the Big House.
