All Charges Against Sandra Brower Dropped

All criminal charges against former Assistant Schools Superintendent Sandra Brower have been dropped, authorities said Monday.

A new grand jury convened Monday to pursue charges against Brower after the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office uncovered additional evidence in the case, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni.

Gramiccioni in a telephone interview declined to say what the new evidence was, but said it was not available at the time of the original indictment.

The previous indictment named Brower and former Wall schools Superintendent James Habel in a scheme to cover up a possible sex abuse case of a then-4-year-old student. Those charges against Brower, and Habel's alleged involvement in it, are now dropped.

Gramiccioni said that the separate indictment against Habel, which charges the former schools cheif with bilking the school district out of thousands of dollars, is still intact and he expect a court date in the near future.

"We defend the state without prejudice or passion,'' Gramiccioni said. "And we don't keep score."

Innocent until proven guilty, ( that is the difference in this country compared to countries that hang them before a fair hearing ) Now that she is proven innocent of those groundless charges, it may be time for ALL of us to turn our attention and low class remarks those involved in this mess from the get-go and their motives. It was the Monmouth county prosecutor and people at the Wall township school system who rolled the dice with TAXPAYER money !

She wasn't found innocent or exonerated. I think that is a big difference of innocence. Charges were dropped. Why were they dropped? I was under the impression the evidence against her and Habel was clear. They hid the e-mails or got rid of them. Wall is good for doing this. Not the first time. She lied to police, according to them. The incident was reported to her and she chose to call Habel and then they both covered it up. She claimed nothing happened. It smells real bad to me. Something is just not right. Like someone else has mentioned. Why have all these laws in place? If they are not going to go by them. Just get rid of them. It just shows you that anything can go on in the public schools by those who is running the show and can get away with anything they want. It is pathetic.

Yeah, she totally tried to cover it up by calling every school board member, the school board attorney, the township attorney and her attorney. And then had the temerity to do that all in one day. This was crap from beginning to end. She is innocent and nobody has ANYTHING to prove otherwise. What exactly did she ask to have deleted from the server? That, like everything else here is prosecutorial overreach.

Really? Then Why did she lie to the Police? It was reported to her from the Teacher or Aide who was wrongly accused. Brower is the one who covered it up when there was no need. The only crap beginning to end is all these over paid administrators who constantly is lying through their teeth who is as dumb as a bag of rocks.
