Gas Price Monday: Prices Fall 4 Cents For Second Week

Gas prices in town fell 4 cents since last week – the second 4-cent drop in as many weeks. The average price for a gallon of regular grade at cash price is $3.13, down from last week’s average of $3.17.

Eight filling stations have prices below $3.10 -- led for the second week by the Circle Service Station and the Gulf on Route 35 at Allaire Road, where a regular gallon costs $3.03, or 10 cents below the town average.

The most expensive gas is again going for $3.29 per gallon, or 16 cents above the town average, at the Gulf station at Route 35 and Sea Girt Avenue, where the price for a gallon has remained unchanged since last week.
