Gas Price Monday: Town Average Slips Another Nickel

The average price for a gallon of gas in town dropped 5 cents since last week continuing a downward trend falling to $3.25 for regular grade at cash price.

The cheapest gas in town can be found at the Route 35 Gulf at Allaire Road for $3.15 per gallon.

The Race Star on Belmar Boulevard has the second best prices in town, charging $3.17 for a gallon of regular at cash price.

After two weeks at the highest price for a regular gallon, the Sunoco station at milepost 100 on the Garden State Parkway has ceded that dubious honor to the Lukoil station at Allenwood and Route 34, which is charging the town’s highest price at $3.35.
