Gas Price Wednesday: Price Continues To Climb

Average price of a gallon, cash price, in town is $3.71, up 5-cents from last week

The cost of a gallon of gas continues its upward slog. The average price in town for a gallon of regular grade gas, cash price, is $3.71 up 5-cents from $3.66 a week ago. The Circle gas station on the Route 33/34 circle is selling the lowest price gallon of the 18 stations in town at $3.59 while the Getty on Route 34 North and Allenwood Road is once again selling the most expensive gallon at $3.87.

Here are this week's prices, collected Tuesday afternoon, beginning with the least expensive:

  • Circle Service Station - Route 34 & Route 33 Circle - $3.59
  • Gulf - 1939 Route 35 (at Allaire Road) - $3.60
  • Sunoco – 1852 Route 35 - $3.63
  • Lukoil - 1007 Route 70 - $3.65
  • Race Star - 2402 Belmar Blvd - $3.65
  • Wawa - 1310 Wyckoff Rd. (at Route 34) - $3.67
  • B.P. - Route 35 & Warren Avenue - $3.69
  • Sunoco - 3240 Belmar Blvd. (Glendola Section) - $3.69
  • Hess - 2630 Route 70 - $3.71
  • Sunoco - Mile Post 100, Garden State Parkway - $3.71
  • Exxon - 1734 18 Ave. (at Route 35) - $3.73
