Monmouth Sponsors Rebuilding Call Today for Storm-Damaged Businesses

Call 559-726-1300 and input access code 147878 at 4 p.m. to learn about assistance for merchants

Monmouth County merchants are encouraged to join a teleconference call today to discuss support services and available opportunities as they recover from Hurricane Sandy.

Call 559-726-1300 and input access code 147878 to take part in the 4 p.m. hour-long Business Rebuilding Call sponsored by Monmouth's Division of Economic Development.

County officials promise information will be provided about state and federal disaster relief programs, tax impact and more.

Business owners are reminded that they can apply for assistance by visiting disasterassistance.gov, calling 800-621-3362 (800-462-7585 for those with speech or hearing disablities) or using a smartphone at m.fema.gov.

After registering with FEMA, business owners can visit a Disaster Recover Center from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily:

  • Belmar Municipal Building, 601 Main St., Belmar;
  • Henry Hudson Trail Activity Center, 945 Route 36, Leonardo;
  • Union Beach Municipal Building, 650 Poole Ave., Union Beach.

Don't do it. The Patch just wants others to do its job. The Patch reporter was moved to the HowellRead More Patch. Wall no longer has a reporter specifically assigned to our town. No longer do we have a reporter attending meetings and reporting on the important news relating to Wall.
