Three Arrested In Separate Stops Overnight

Drunken driving and minor drug possession among charges

Wall Police arrested three in separate incidents overnight Tuesday.

Kevin P. Murphy, 51, of Brielle, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 35 near Church Street around 10:10 p.m. Tuesday. Patrolman Adam Cox was the arresting officer, Sgt. Chad Clark said.

Jesse Skokos, 22, of Wall, was arrested and charged with minor marijuana possession following a traffic stop on Route 35 near the Belmar boundary around 10:21 p.m. Tuesday. Patrolman Dan Santoro was the arresting officer, Clark said.

Jessica M. Papiccio, age and hometown were not immediately available, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at Route 35 near 18th Avenue around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday. Patrolman Emmett Idzahl was the arresting officer, Clark said.
