Township To Kick Off Holiday Season Friday

Annual tree lighting, with fireworks, scheduled for 6 p.m.

The annual tree lighting kicking off the holiday season in Wall Township is scheduled for Friday evening.

The event, which is expected to include a visit from Santa Claus among other activities, is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at town hall, 2700 Allaire Rd.

The annual lighting ceremony will feature caroling by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, refreshments and a performance by the Dance Theatre Project and a fireworks display.

The Girl Scouts also will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Manasquan Food Pantry.

Don't do it. The Patch just wants others to do its job. The Patch reporter was moved to the HowellRead More Patch. Wall no longer has a reporter specifically assigned to our town. No longer do we have a reporter attending meetings and reporting on the important news relating to Wall.
