Walk To Benefit Down Syndrome Organization Set

The Jersey Shore Down Syndrome Association is scheduled to hold "Step Up For Down Syndrome Walk" on Saturday, October 13, organizers said.

The walk is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Wall Municipal Complex, 2700 Allaire Rd. The day will include the walk, food, prizes and fun family activities.

Individuals and teams are encouraged to register to participate and sponsorships are still available. Money raised from this event will directly support the mission of the organization and will be the driving force behind the organization's programs such as the desperately needed Parents First Call program.
