A 28 year-old Wall Township man was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a 14 year old Ocean County female, police said today.
Detectives arrested 28 year-old Edward E. Callahan of Route 35,Wall Township on one count of aggravated sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a minor.
According to police, Callahan is alleged to have had sexual relations with a 14 year-old Ocean County female at his residence. Police did not release details about the dates of the alleged incidents.
Callahan was arrested, processed and remanded to the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
Wall Detective Rick Pasqualini was the arresting officer and lead investigator. No photo was released and no further details were released.
