Wall Man Indicted On Forgery Charges

Grand jury indicts man for forging checks belonging to someone else

A Wall Township man was indicted Thursday on forgery and theft charges by a grand jury.

Maskim Baranov, 20, of Bellewood Ave., is charged with one count each of third degree forgery, third degree uttering a forged instrument and third degree theft by deception, according to the indictment.

Between March 9 and April 5, Baranov forged and cashed checks at Bank of America Branches Wall, Brielle and Bradley Beach that belonged to an unnamed person totaling $3,645, the indictment says.
