Winter Weather Advisory Before Sun on Wednesday

Spring snow starts the week.

The cold winter weather is not done with our area yet as the National Weather Service is predicting a chance of rain and snow to fall from Sunday night possibly into the day on Tuesday.

According to the NWS a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 4 a.m. on Monday until midnight with as much as two to four inches of snow possible. Much of the accumulation is expected to stick to unpaved surfaces but that could still make for hazardous conditions on the roads.

The high temperature for today is expected to be close to 37 with slightly cooler temperatures expected at night. Most of the precipitation is expected to wind down by Tuesday when the high will reach up near 47 degrees. After sunset the temperature is then expected to drop down near 32 degrees.
