Speakeasy Soiree to Benefit InfoAge Science and History Museum in Wall, NJ
We are delighted to announce InfoAge’s first annual Speakeasy Soirée which will be held onSaturday, May 31, 2014 in the Marconi dining hall and wrap around veranda at InfoAge Science and History Center. The event is remarkable as it marks the 100th Anniversary of the opening of Marconi Station in Wall Township.
Guests will travel back in time to the roaring 20’s with buffet, appetizers, music and dancing, open bar that will include beer, wine and a signature Bee's Knees speakeasy cocktail, silent auctions and the company of good friends who gather for a worthy cause—to support the continued restoration and upkeep of this National Landmark and Science and History Center.
InfoAge Museum of Science and History is a national historic landmark and based out of the original Marconi Station and Camp Evans in Wall Township, New Jersey. We are a 501(c)3 dedicated to lifelong learning and preservation of the rich history. We engage the community through exhibits, events and programs that represent one hundred years of global reaching scientific discovery, technology and innovation. We are designed to spark scientific exploration and inventiveness as was the case in those who were here before us.
June 7, 2014 marks the 100 anniversary of the opening of Marconi Station as well as marks the 350th anniversary for New Jersey.
