Golden Osprey Awards

27th Golden Osprey Awards Recognize Excellence

 

The Southern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce (SMCC) will be honoring its most outstanding citizens and businesses at the 27th Annual Golden Osprey Awards Gala,  Thursday, October 18 2012, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., the Spring Lake Manor, 415 State Highway 71, in Spring Lake.

The Golden Osprey Awards recognize business excellence, community service, chamber   service and an aspiring youth.  Aqua-Land Pools, Inc. Manasquan, owner Linda Carroll  and Chris DeCresce of Fratello’s Restaurant and Lounge, Sea Girt and the Sand Bar Restaurant, Brielle, will receive the Business Excellence Award for outstanding business practices and contributions to the community.

 

Mark Balsam of Investors Bank, Wall is the recipient of the Outstanding Community Service Osprey award. Investors Bank has consistently donated time and money to support our community. He is an active participant in events to benefit the Chambers’ charitable events.

 The Francis Asbury Manor, a senior living community in Ocean Grove and Errol Ernstrom, of American Placemats, Denville, will receive the Outstanding Chamber           Service Award for their continuing contributions.

            Lauren Harris, Spring Lake, a graduate of the Ranney School in Tinton Falls has learned the Aspiring Youth award as a student who excelled academically and helps  others in the community.  

Evelyn Mars, executive director of the SMCC, said, “We are so honored to have people in our community and our chamber who give wholeheartedly without any             hesitation or thought of personal gain. They deserve to be recognized for their excellence in business and their dedication to others.”
